"The savage explorer"

Films: Unearthed (2007)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Desert/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Aliens might have a variety of ways to see what life is like on other worlds. Most of the time, we imagine probes designed like basic machines. But never before have we seen a probe like this. One that's organic, and very much alive...

History: Nine centuries ago, a living alien probe was discovered by ancient Mesoamericans living near what would become New Mexico. It was deified at first, but then something made it go berserk, and the people were forced to poison it so that it would cease its killing spree. And for all those years, it lay dormant. But not anymore. The poison has worn off, and the monster is back to collect DNA samples via infecting everything with parasites.

Notable Kills: Uses one of its limbs to slice off the upper half of a man's head. Also, any time the parasites are unleashed.

Final Fate: After its parasite propagator is blown up, the beast itself is run into a water tower before being tricked into eating a person with the same poison in her veins. The probe is soon knocked out and left to be buried again in the dirt.

Powers/Abilities: Accompanying the probe is an insectoid creature that shares a symbiotic relationship. Whether detached from the beast's chest or not, this thing can shower its prey in parasites that burrow through bodies, collecting DNA data along the way. As for the probe itself, it can resist almost all types of damage, and has talons capable of tearing through steel.

Weakness: A special poison filled with uranium will either send the probe into unconsciousness or kill it.

Scariness Factor: 4-Yes, we admit it, it's something of a Xenomorph rip-off, but it's a damn cool one, anyway! This armored terror just wasn't content with being a complete death machine by itself. It just had to have a weird crab-looking thing that infects people with horrific wormy parasites. There are BETTER ways to collect data, people...

Trivia: -This film was also known as "To Stigma" and "Alien Rising".

-In some Mesoamerican dig sites, archaeologists have discovered skulls with ridiculously huge craniums. Some pointed to aliens, but over time, it has been suggested that human skull deformation was not uncommon in the areas back then.

The creature might be a bit freaked out to realized it's been 900 YEARS.

Something is about to go very wrong.

Swat that thing!
Think that he's a dragon, except techno-organic and utterly merciless.

Japan! Stop making this creature look even more like a rip-off!

"I've got gas mon-OOF!"
They found the burnt copies of Atari's E.T.

Glow-stick juice? Ugh.
